For photographers and video creators
For photographers and video creators: media gathered, nothing big trashed by surprise
Omaculate gathers photos and videos, including RAW, and audio into their own folders, and can move them straight into Pictures, Movies or Music. No suggested recipe trashes media; anything sent to the Trash is listed for your approval first.
Large, irreplaceable files
A client gallery or the only take of an interview should never be cleared by a rule about size or age.
Media mixed with everything else
AirDropped clips and downloaded assets sit between invoices and installers.
Installers for every plug-in
Plug-ins, LUT packs and tools leave installers behind.
Recipes that help
Start with these.

Trash old app installers
An installer in Downloads, older than 30 days, goes to the Trash.
Trash zips already unzipped
A zip in Downloads that's already unzipped goes to the Trash.
Setting it up
- Let Oma into Downloads.
- Add "Gather photos and videos" and "Gather audio and recordings".
- In each recipe, pick Pictures, Movies or Music as the destination if you would rather keep media out of Downloads.
- Approve the first list and check History for anything you want back.
Good to know
- Use "RAW photo" in a recipe to keep RAW files apart from JPGs.
- Add a folder per month inside the destination to keep shoots apart.
Questions
Will Omaculate trash large files to free space?
Not unless you build a recipe for it. None of the suggested recipes trashes media, and any Trash row waits for your Approve.
Can files go to an external drive?
Yes. Choose the drive's folder as a destination in a recipe, and let Oma into it once.
Let Oma have a look at your Downloads.
Free for one folder. Everything free for 3 days, then Grand Oma is $14.99, once.
